First you ride up a vintage mountain railway to a viewpoint at 2350m, with amazing panorama views over the bright blue lakes surrounding Interlaken and dozens of peaks in the Bernese Oberland region. The hike heads east following the ridge, making your way up and down peaks, with some of the best views you can get in Switzerland. You\u2019ll get a workout for sure, but every step leads to even more impressive views.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">It\u2019s a well-maintained trail and suitable for most experienced hikers and older children, assuming you only go in good weather and follow basic hiking safety guidelines and using extreme caution as you navigate steep slopes and cliff edges. It is much safer for regular hikers than the neighboring Hardergrat trail, which is generally considered one of the most dangerous hikes in the world, where people die almost every year.
